Our Process
1. Jaber worked with the U. S Embassy in Morocco to understand the goals and outcomes of the branding effort to support the trade agreement
2. Jaber coordinated with celebrity chefs and local influencers on large scale events to push the message out to the public
3. Jaber worked with the Press to ensure positive local messaging on USDA products
4. Jaber handled execution of the events and public engagement in joint coordination with the U.S Embassy.
Project Challenges
Branding
USDA halal meat was facing challenges that it might not be halal and it might not be healthy leading to stigma about the product which was a narrative pushed by competitive suppliers.
Localization
It was important to talk about the product and showcase in the local context and local cuisine and present it in local dishes and send the message out in the local Moroccan Arabic dialect.
Client Review
In Marrakech, chef Jaber will meet Moroccan chef Moha Fadel for a Chef Showcase on Friday, June 21st in Jamaa Al Fnaa. The two chefs will be cooking a variety of delicious halal dishes made with top-quality U.S.beef.
